Job Summary

ReFrame Wealth is seeking a new team member to join our office in Fairfax, Virginia. The Associate Financial Planner will assist our clients and our team by building financial plans, interfacing with clients, and maintaining client databases.  The ReFrame team will partner with the Associate Financial Planner to teach him/her the ins and outs of the financial planning industry and how to grow in their career path.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Associate Financial Planner will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely responses to client correspondence and inquiries.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our client service processes.
  • Building financial plans using MoneyGuidePro and Naviplan.
  • Participating in client meetings by preparing materials beforehand, engaging in the meeting, creating post meeting documentation, and following up with post meeting deliverables.
  • Assist with the client onboarding process.
  • Maintaining and updating databases.
  • Building rapport with clients and making them feel comfortable with our team.
  • Build a trusted and collaborative relationship with our operations team to properly and accurately execute cashiering, deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions.
  • Offering creative solutions to client needs – we want you to share your opinion on how best to solve financial planning problems for our clients.
  • Assist clients with transactions and service requests. Serve as a liaison between ReFrame and our investment team when needed.
  • Develop expertise in our firm’s technology and software tools.
  • Partnering with the other members of the ReFrame team on projects.
  • Completing individual projects as needed.

Qualifications

We seek candidates who:

  • Have a strong desire to always put the client first and fulfill our fiduciary duty.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Have experience working in a client facing financial services role and are confident building financial plans.
  • Are well organized, with extraordinary attention to detail and the ability to support multiple advisors.
  • Multitask and take on projects and assignments with the understanding of the challenges of operating a small business.
  • Are comfortable with multiple technologies and the ability to integrate multiple systems into client deliverables.
  • Are responsive and effective communicators, verbally and in writing.
  • Possess strong ethics, with the ability and dedication to maintain high confidentiality of personally identifiable client and firm information.
  • Have emotional intelligence and self-awareness to develop an effective working relationship with a diverse team of colleagues and successfully serve a diverse client base.
  • Are eager to learn about the industry and ReFrame Wealth, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Are tech savvy, with the proficiency to quickly learn new technology tools, platforms, and software.

Education, experience, licenses and designations:

We seek the following in our associate financial planner.

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • CFP® designation highly preferred
  • Two years of financial services experience.
